WEEK + DAY: week 19 day 0
WEIGHT GAIN: about 9 pounds total. i[m debating if this is real or not; its been a week full of family & food, haha!
SYMPTOMS: still pretty exhausted! lots of abdominal stretching at random times with headaches (even a nosebleed once in a while, eeks). also been experiencing sour stomach because of my love for acidic & spicy food :(
FOOD CRAVINGS: dare i say my cravings have curbed? i'm back to my health kick -- probably due to the week of eating out almost everyday. on a random note, i've been drinking hot chocolate. maybe its to satisfy my hot coffee ritual?
FOOD AVERSIONS: none at the moment.
EXERCISE: keeping it up! taking it easy with an incline speed walk on the treadmill for 30-35 min followed by weights. been targeting lower body with squats & lunges & upper body with bicep curls & chest press thanks to the cable machine. still haven't used the prenatal yoga dvd.
NEW DISCOVERY: none to report on at the moment...but we find out the gender on SATURDAY!
LESSONS LEARNED: had my first semi-meltdown cry. my bump literally grew overnight & i was less prepared than i thought i was. woke up one morning, & nothing fit. my mother-in-law was kind enough to buy me some skinny-straight maternity jeans & that made me feel better lol.
FAVORITE BABY PURCHASES: these milestone cards from My Little Milestones (see below). i cannot wait for them to get here! great gender neutral option & only $35 with shipping.
FAVORITE MAMA PURCHASES: finally got my mani & pedi on this week, thank you LORD! found a little gem in Los Gatos called Anabelle. i'm quite convinced this will be a regular thing. next on the list, prenatal massage. doing research as we speak ;)
