BAKE & CELEBRATE: PISTACHIO & ROSE BUNDT CAKE

persian new year is tomorrow & i was looking for a unique dessert to take for our family's gathering. i came across this recipe & decided to make my own twist to it. naturally, i wanted something quick & simple but with a beautiful presentation:

1 angel food cake mix box & its listed ingredients (i'm sure white cake mix would work well, maybe even better)
1 cup of greek nonfat yogurt
rosewater
dried rose petals
shelled & crushed pistachios
baker's sugar
whole milk

add in ingredients directed on your cake mix box, plus add a cup of yogurt, 1 tablespoon of rosewater. stir well & place in oven as directed. while that is baking, make your glaze by adding 2 teaspoons of rosewater, 2 cups of baker's sugar & 2 tablespoons of whole milk. your consistency should be thick & white (if running or clear, add more sugar).

once your remove your cake from the oven & it cools, spread your glaze over, letting it drip down the sides. add your crushed pistachios & dried rose petals. not bad, huh?
